four copies of TVA Topical Report "BWR Transient Analysis Model Utilizing the RETRAN Program." That topical, when approved, would be used by TVA to perform in-house core reload design and analysis for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. Enclosed are four copies of "TVA Reload Core Design and Analysis Methodology for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant." This report describes the TVA reload core design and analysis process so that a-i detailed discussion of analytical techniques will not be required in specific reload licensing submittals.
This report is submitted as supporting information for NRC staff review of the TVA topical report submitted by the January 22, 1982 letter. As agreed to at the TVA/NRC meeting on October 1, 1981, and as mentioned in my October 20, 1981 letter to you, NRC staff approval of this report is not requested.
