SIT CHARACTERIZATION REPORT REVIEW PLAN i
PDR In accordance with Operating Plan PPSAS Milestone 311412, attached is the completed site characterization report (SCR) review plan for your review. The plan will be finalized upon receipt and resolution of your comments in the next several weeks.
This plan focuses first on preparations to be completed before SCR mceipt to assure that we can issue a draft SCR analysis for public comment rapidly. This includes the extensive interactions with the Department of Energy as they prepare the SCR to assure it is on the mark. While there are some specific steps and procedures planned to assure we are organized, the plan was developed to provide the flexibility needed to flush out potential problems early and find the most effective way to deal with DOE in resolving them. As we finn up with DOE on any general guiding principles or any standing procedures for continued technical discussions with field organizations pmparing the SCR's, the plan will be updated.
The document has been provided to the Office of Research (RES) for review and coment and the general approaches taken on it have been reviewed with RES (JJDavis) in a meeting. L'e will be working with RES to resolve any spes ific connents they may have in the next few days.
