This letter constitutes a supplement to our letter QA-1528, dated October 27, 1981.
It is our opinion that nothing in this letter is of a proprietary nature.
Item E, of the subject report, identified two inspection reports, 50-358/80 and 50-358/80-25, regarding the review and revision of HJK procedures. This item is being addressed as part of CG&E activities in response to your Immediate Action Letter, dated April 8, 1981. Revision of the HJK QA Manual was completed effective November 24, 1981, however, the Phase II review and revision of procedures as a result of the Immediate Action Letter has been delayed by unforeseen complications associated with the writing and approval process.
At this time, the Phase II review and revision of inspection procedures is essentially complete and the committed date of January 30, 1982 will be met.
The review and revision of the associated construction procedures is proceeding and is expected to be completed by February 28, 1982.
