Dear Mr Speaker:
r>
on Enclosed is the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) FY 1981 report on contract activity involving FY 1978 funds as required by Section 11, Public Law 95-601, NRC's FY 1979 Aathorization Act.
This report, the fourth in a series, addresses the changes in obligations that were made in FY 1981 to contracts that involve FY 1978 funds.
Exhibit 1 identifies the number of commercial contracts which experienced changes to FY 1978 obligations during the past fiscal year by Program Office, Program Technical Support and Program Direction and Administration.
Exhibit 2 and Exhibit 3 show the same information for Department of Energy (DOE) work orders and other interagency agreements, respectively.
Exhibit 4 presents the FY 1981 closecut actions for contracts with outstand-ing FY 1978 funds.
The disposition of almost all FY 1978 funded contract ectivity has been reported pursuant to the above referenced Public Law.
Less than one percent of the original FY 1978 obligations for commercial contracts, interagency agreements and. DOE work orders remain unpaid in open contracts. Therefore, this report represents the final NRC annual report on the subject.
Sincerely,
- f. A(IM' tunzio adino Chairman
