Dear Mr. Keppler:
On January 29, 1982, the Prompt Notification System for the 10-mile radius r,urrounding the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, was tested by the Toledo Edison Company and Ottawa County public officials.
The results of the test show areas of deficiency, which were detailed for you in our January 29, 1982 status report (Serial No. 1-244). These defici-encies will be corrected by June 1, 1982, within the 120 days allowed by 10 CFR 50.54(s)(2).
Toledo Edison will notify your office when the siren deficiencies are corrected.
