JOINT MOTION TO CONTINUE PROCEEDINGS By Order dated October 22, 1981, this Licensing Board granted a motion by U.S. Ecology, Inc., concurred in by the NRC Staff, to continue proceedings until February 20, 1982, in order to permit time for settle-ment negotiations.

Progress has been made in that regard, and the NRC Staff and U.S. Ecology hereby jointly move this Board to extend the continuance for an additional period of 101 days to and including June 1,1982 to provide additional time for settlement negotiations.

Counsel for other parties to this proceeding have been contacted and have expressed no objection to this motion.
