Docket Nos. 50-352 and 50-353
Dear Administrative Judges:
In response to the request made by the Board during the special prehearing conference held in Norristown, Pennsylvania, January 6-8, 1982, that the Staff provide copies of back correspondence between the Staff and the Applicant concerning the operating license review, Tr. 63, Staff is trans-mitting copies of the documents requested to persons on the service list in this proceeding. A computer print-out listing all application-related correspondence Letween the Applicant and the Staff from January 1, 1979 through December 1981 is also enclosed. Documents responsive to the Board's request are identified on the print-out by a small circle in the left-hand margin.
The Board also requested that correspondence relating to the Applicant's probabilistic risk assessment be highlighted. Tr. 188-189.
Staff has highlighted this correspondence by placing the notation "PRA" in the upper right-hand corner of the first page of each document related to probabilistic risk assessment. The same notation is used to identify these documents on the print-out, where it appears in the left-hand margin.
Staff has also enclosed a copy of a Memorandum from Brian K. Grimes, Program Director Emergency Preparedness Program Office, to Harold R. Denton, Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, dated April 30, 1980 on the subject of " Candidate Sites for Risk Studies". The computer run was done before the Memorandum was placed in the docket file for this proceeding.
Sincerely, s
