- 12. DESCRIPTION OF AMENDu!NT/ MODIFICATION Whereas the Government and the contractor have disagreed on the effective date of Modification No. Seventeen (17) to the contract which was unilaterally executed by the Contracting Officer on June 15, 1981, the parties hereby agree to a new effective date of June 15, 1981.
As a result of this modification, paragraph B. of Modification No. Seventeen (17) is ravised to read as follows:
Exercising its option under Section 6.A.
The price of the equipment is $4,343,577.00.

(5), the NRC elects to pay the equivalent of 24 months lease payments on all equipment The total rental credits earned leased less than 24 months as of June 2, 1981.
under this contract equal $2,771,947.15. The net purchase price for the system is
$1,571,629.85."
