Appendix NOTICE OF VIOLATION r
Wisconsin Electric Power Docket No. 50-301 4
Company As a result of the investigation conducted on June 9,-1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (October 7, 1980), the 4
following violation was identified:
Technical Specification 15.6.11 " Radiation Protection Program" states in part, each high radiation area in which the intensity of radiation is greater than 100 mrem /hr but less than 1000 mrem /hr shall be... controlied by requiring issuance of a Radiation Work Permit as described in Point Beach Nuclear Plant Health Physics Administrative Control Policies and Procedures Manual, SECTION 2.7.
Contrary to the above, on May 8, 1981, two individuals were present in a high radiation area not delineated on a Radiation Work Permit.
This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement IV).
The investigation showed that action had been taken to correct the identified item of noncompliance and to prevent recurrence. Consequently, no reply to this item of noncompliance is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter.
