Dear Administrative Judges:
On January 15, 1982, the Licensee filed its " Motion to Compel Answers to Licensee's First Interrogatories to the Citizens for Nuclear Reactor Safety, Inc."
Our review indicates that the flotion involves a discovery dispute between the Licensee and the Intervenor, and the Staff does not intend to respond. However, the Staff notes that the Licensee has requested that the Board stay consideration of the flotion for 45 days, during which the Licensee will attempt to amicably resolve the matter with the Intervenor. The Staff supports the Licensee's pro-posal that the parties first attempt to resolve their differences without involving the Board.
We have been advised that a meeting has been scheduled for February 2, 1982, with all parties attending. The purpose of the meeting is to attempt to resolve any discovery disputes.
