Utilities Company (GSU) committed to provide a status report concerning the potentially reportable condition on A-500 Grade B steel in pipe support applications at River Bend Station (RBS).
On December 11, 1981, Mr. Crossman of the Region IV Office approved a request by GSU for an extension until January 8,1982, for the response on this subject.
Currently, CSU is reviewing documentation to assure that the A-500 steel received on-site meets the applicable ASTM requirements, as manufactured. Our review of the potential problem with the Bergen-Patterson Quality Assurance Program is requiring further evaluation which is anticipated to be completed' by March 5, 1982. At that time, a status report will be provided.
