Dear Mr. Keppler:

/ lini As part of the Unit 3 preoutage work, a secondary containment leak rate test (SCLRT) was performed on the Unit 2/3 Reactor Building.

According to Section 4.7.C.I.c. of the Dresden 2/3 Technical Specifi-cations, the secondary containment must be capable of maintaining 0.25 inches of water vacuum with the Reactor Building ventilation system isolated and one Standby Gas Treatment train in operation.

On January 2, 1982, the test was performed in accordance with station procedures. Th( result was a 0.28 inches of water negative pressure in the secondary containment with respect to the atmosphere, which meets the Technical Specification requirement. This report is submitted in accordance with the requirements of Section 6.6.C.3. of the Unit 3 Technical Specifications.
