" Verification of CLASIX-3 Computer Prcgram" AECM-82/41 Please find enclosed three (3) copies of the report entitled
" Verification of the CLASIX-3 Computer Program," OPS-37A36 dated December 1981 (Non-Proprietary). This report was prepared for Mississippi Power & Light Company (MP&L) by Offshore Power Systems (OPS) to provide a verification of the CLASIX-3 computer program used in the containment response analyses due to a hydrogen generation event for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.
Six (6) copies of the proprietary version of " Verification of the CLASIX-3 Computer Program," OPS-37A35 dated December, 1981, is also attached. These reports are attached under separate wrapping and are marked proprietary.
Due to proprietary nature of the OPS-37A35 report, an Offshore Power Systems authorization letter (FNP-PST-103) and an accompanying affidavit are attached. The affidavit, signed by OPS, the owner of the information, sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of h0 10 CFR 2.790.
