This is a response to your letter of December 10, 1981 identifying one activity in non-compliance with NRC requirements as noted by Mr. J.
L.
Lynch during his inspection of November 24, 1981 (letter attached).
With respect to the item cited in the letter, written procedures for the handling of returned products have been modified and all relevant personnel notified as of December 1, 1981 so that radio-active material labels on uncontaminated containers are defaced before disposal of those containers.
We believe that this action fully responds to the noted violation and will ensure proper dis-posal of uncontaminated containers in the future.
