Dear Ms. Adensam:
Subject:
NUCLEAR PROJECTS NOS. 1 AND 4
'iUARD TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN
Reference:
Letter R. L. Tedesco NRC to R. L Ferguson -
WNP-2 Guard Training and Qualification Plan, dated August 5, 1981 The Supply System Guard Training and Qualification Plan has been submitted to and approved by the NRC (reference) in conjunction with the Operating License Application for WNP-2 (Docket No. 50-397).
Because the training tasks outlined in the WNP-2 Guard Training and Qualification Plan are identical to the tasks being performed at WNP-1 and 4, it is requested that the WNP-2 Guard Training and Qualification Plan be included by reference in the WNP-1/4 Operating License Application.
The Guard Training and Qualification Plan which has been reviewed and approved by the NRC for WNP-2 is being applied generally to WNP-1, 2 and 4 since the security officers and supervisors are:
(a) members of the same organization under the control of one manager, (b) interchange job assignments at all three projects, and (c) perform duties on the same security systems and equipment at each plant.
