l thtion for Extention of Time to File Exceptions In response to a notion filed by the Union of Ooncerned Scientists j (UCS), on Deceber 28, 1981, the Appeal Board extended tM tine for filing exceptions to the Licensing Doards December 14, 1981, PID until Februrary 1, 1982. This notion was granted specifically because "the parties should direct their inuediate attention to the [innediate effective-l ness) issues before the Gomnission." D2cmber 28 Order, at 2.

By its order of January 11, 1982, the Ccrmission has extended until January 28, 1982, tine in which ccnnents on the inuediate effectiveness of the Decmber 14, 1981 PID shall be fjled.
In addition, UCS Ims contcuporaneously with this notion requested that the Ocumission further extend this deadline until February 15, 1982.
Therefore, UCS requests that the Appeal Board extend its deadline for the filing of ex ptions until February 16 to correspond with the Comtissions new schedule (or until March 1,1982 if UCS's most recent notion is granted). Under the present new schedule, replies to exceptions would be due seven days later, or February 23, 1982.
