SURtARY OF DECE!!BER 29, 1981 MEETIllG On December 29, 1981, at the request of Mr. Denton, Director of the Office of fluclear Reactor Regulation, representatives of the Commonwealth Edison Company, Sargent and Lundy and the General Electric Company met with Mr. Deaton and other members of the flRC staff to present information on the design control measures that have been taken for the La Salle County Station. A list of attendees is previded in Attachment 1.
The applicant is in the process of preparing a formal report to us on the design control for its La Salle facility and brought along draft material that will be used in that report.
One copy of this voluminous draft material is provided as Attachment 2 to only the file copy of this meeting summary. A limited number of additional copies have been made and distributed to key staff personnel.
Following oral presentations from the applicant and its contractors at the meeting, Mr. Reed indicated that the Cocconwealth Edison Company expects to complete the formal report by January 4, 1982. Because the report will be quite lengthly, the applicant agreed with staff suggestion to provide an introductory " highlights" section.
