The purpose of this correspondence is to comunicate a modification in

receipt reportirg requirements which impacts on your operations.
Effective with the issuance of the revised instructions for completion of Fonn NRC/00E-741 on April 1,1981, the Form D0E-284 became invalid for use by NRC licensees for interim acknowledgement of receipts.
The decision to delete this form was the result of a GA0 ruling that the form represented a duplication of forms with the same purpose.
Althoch the modification was effective April 1, the decision to delete this option was delayed for licensees handling DOE material until the inconsistency between NRC and DOE 741 instructions could be resolved.
This has now taken place. The resolution is that, notwithstanding the option provided in the DOE instructions to use the Form 284, NRC licensees will follow the NRC instructions and use the Fona 7;l for interim acknowledgement of receipts.
Unrelated to the aforementioned topic, we have noted that a revision date to your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan was inadvertently deleted from License Condition 2.1 in our September 18, 1981 correspondence.
Accordingly, in order to correct this oversight and delete the license condition which provides for the use of Form D0E-284, we are hereby revising License Condition 2.1 and deleting License Condition 6.2 of Amendment MPP-1 to your License No. SNM-369, as contained in the enclosure, to be effective immediately.
