On December 7, 1981, the NRC Site Resident Inspector was notified of a potentially reportable 10CFR50.55(c) condition concerning the mismarking of the flow arrow on two (2) of the subjer t instrumentation valves.
An investigation by the vendor and CG&E is underway to determine the safety-related significance of this deficiency should any of these valves be operated in the improperly installed direction. This analysis should be complete by February 15, 1982, at which time a report will be submitted.
We trust this letter will fulfill the requirements of an interim report under 10CFR50.55(e).
