Dear Mr. Wurtz:
This is in further response to your letter dated October 20, 1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of 29 listed tapes of interviews conducted in connection with the NRC investigation of the TMI-2 accident and a copy of the index of all tapes made in the course of the NRC investigation.
We were unable to identify the existence of a tape for E. Frederick with an interview date of April 6,1979.
Our records indicate no such interview of'Mr. Frederick was conducted by our IE investigation team on that date nor do we possess a Met Ed tape of such an interview.
Your letter also lists some discrepant dates of interviews for several other individuals.
We have provided copies of the tapes which most closely fit the request for the individuals identified.
Some tapes requested by your letter were provided to you earlier.
We understand that during a telephone conversation between you and Mr. J. M. Allan, Region I, on October 14, 1981, you indicated that this was an oversight and duplicates need net be sent.
Appendix A is a list of the tapes which were provided to a representative of your Washington office. Also indicated on this list are the discrepancies mentioned above.
The charge for the tapes is $53.30.
You will be billed later by our Controller's Office for this amount of money.
This completes action on your request.

Dear Mr. Felton:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, we request copies of the original tapes of interviews of GPU and Metropolitan Fdison personnel conducted by the NRC in connection with its investigation of the TMI-2 accident.
Attached is a list of such tapes developed from transcripts, with tape numbers provided wherever possible.
Also, we request a copy of the index of all tapes made in the course of the NRC investigation of the TMI-2 accident.
After we review this index, we may have additions to the attached list.
It would be appreciated if this inilov could be provided at the earliest conveM --'
