Un benalf of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission staff, I would like to express our appreciation fcr the administrative support you provided for the recent public neeting we held in your town.
The facilities you proviced and your noderation of the meeting made it possible for all those in attendance who wishea to speak to the staff to do so. Since the purpose of the raeeting was to provide the public direct access to the staff to express environmental concerns, it was a successful effort. Several concerns were identified by members of the public and they will all be made a part of the of ficial record of the Seabrook proceedings.
Your support has helped to ensure that the environmental impact statement for Seabrook Station will provide an accurate assessacnt of the ettects of the project on the local environment. The interests of the public have been better served by your participation in this effort.
