Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos.1 & 2, Docket Nos. 50-317 & 50-318 Organizational Changes Gentlemen:
Baltimore Gas and Electric Company wishes to inform you of the following organizational changes, which were effective as of January 1,1982:
1)
Quality Assurance Department is shifted in its entirety from the Engineering and Construction Division to the Supply Division. ~(See Figure A) 2)
Project Management Department is established, with Mr. R. H. Kent as Manager, in the Engineering and Construction Division. This Department includes some elements previously controlled by Electric Engineering Depa.tment. (See Figures A and B).

Electric Engineering Department is reorganized under new' Manager, Mr. S.

Rittenhouse.
The new Department is aligned functionally and consolidates all nuclear-related engineering functions under a single l
supervising engineer, Mr. R. F. Ash. (See Figures A and C).
l These changes, which will provide for better control of our nuclear activities, L
should not affect the correspondence or liaison between the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and our Company.
We expect to reflect these changes in an upcoming request for an amendment to l
our technical specifications. If you have any questions concerning these changes, we would be pleased to discuss them with you.
