Morrison-Knudsen Company, Incorporated Power Systems Division Docket No. 99900702/81-01 NOTICE OF H OLATION As a result of the inspection conducted on June 1-5, 1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (October 7, 1980), the following violation was identified:
Paragraph 21.31 of Title 10, Part 21, of the Code of Federal Regulations states in part, "Each individual, corporation, partnership or other entity subject to the regulations in this part shall assure that each procurement document for a facility, or a basic component issued... on or after January 6, 1978 specifies, when applicable, that the provisions of 10 CFR Part 21 apply."
Contrary to the above, Power Systems Division had not assured that the provisions of 10 CFR Part 21 had been specified for each procurement document issued since January 6, 1978, for safety-related basic components.
