Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Ch August 12, 1981, Mr. Virgil Brownlee of N10. Regicn II was notified of a potmtial significant deficimcy cn the subject "Ncn Safety Solenoid valve is mergized by 125 volt DC 1E Bus".
In interim letter addressing the above subject was sent Septetter 14, 1981.
A system revies of the problem by TE&G's architect and engineers showed that the solenoid valve was ncn-safety related and indeed it was being fed by 1E 125 DC bus. Inspecticn of the electrical elemmtary diagrams showed that the ccntrol circuit dcys have sufficist isolaticn to meet the separaticn requiremmts as outline, in Ocnstructicn Guideline for Electrical Circuit Ihysical Separaticn.
An algineering change notice NCN 1819 was writtm to relabel the circuit drawings for informaticnal purprees. No hardware or circuit changes had to be made because all regi.iranmts were originally satisfied.
'Iherefore, because of the above reascns this iten is not reportable inder 10CFR50.55 (e) or 10CFR21. 'ILis is crnsidered a final report of this matter.
