PURFOSE This EPIP provides the Rad / Chem Director or an alternate a guide for collecting and communicating the necessary information during a GSEP.

PREREQUISITES Ensure that the Rad / Chem office is staffed before reporting permanently to the TSC.

PRECAurIONS 1.

Use Area monitors for first review of plant conditions.

2.

Ensure that the Health Physicists staff has reviewed quarterly exposure before assigning Maintenance, Operating and Rad / Chem personnel to high rad areas to prevent over exposures and maintain the ALARA concept.

LIMITATIONS Ato ACTIONS The Rad / Chem Director will serve as Environs Director until the Environs Director Arrives on site and will dispatch environs teams as required.

Report to the Rad / Chem Office to obtain status report from Rad / Chem Foreman.

Report to the Technical Support Center (TSC).

Perform habitability

  • checks per Appendix 1.
  • Habitability is defined as the following:
