UNC Recovery Systems has initiated decontamirstion of the interior surfaces of our uranium recovery process building.
We are working to achieve com-pliance with the November, 1976 NRC Guidelines for such decontamination.
Based on our past conversations, I understand that Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) will be performing the closecut survey of this facility.
In order to help assure our proper compliance with the NRC guidelines and adherence to our D&D schedule, I am requesting that a knowledgeable representative from ORAU visit this facility in the near futurc to review with us the technical aspects of their planned survey.
It would be desireable for cognizant indi-viduals from your office and from Region I to also participate in such a review.
