Dear Mr. Haynes:
By letter. dated October 30, 1981, the Power Authority of the State of New York-(Authority) and Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc.
(Con Edison) provided you with an estimated schedule for installa'. ion of the Alert and Notification System for the Indian Point site 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone.
The Autnority and Con Edison wish to inform you that the aforementioned Alert and Notification System is in the final stages of installation and testing.
It is anticipated that the remaining activities will be completed by the implementation date specified in the-amended NRC emer-gency planning regulations.
