Maine Yankee requests the following temporary excep '
l to technical specification 3.6.
This exception is for one l
time only application.
" Isolation of the minimum flow recirculation line for safeguards pumps is permitted for a period of not more than six hours on December 24, 1981 only to accomplish repair 1
on leaking isolation valve SIA 59."
l This exception is justified in that there is a very low probability of the need for this line during the brief period it will be out of service, and further by the compensating action to be taken which assures that should this line be called upon (SIAS) an operator stationed so as to be able to quickly put the line back in service, and in contact with the control room, will be available during the period when this line is out of service.
