SUH4ARY OF QAB met.Tl e A meeting was held December 9,1981 in Bethesda, ifaryland with representatives from Comonwealth Edison and their consultants to discuss concerns of the Quality Assurance Branch. A list of attendees is given in Enclosure 1.
The two concerns of QAB were discussca as follows:
- 1) Question 421.19 - Reg. Guide 1.94 The staff asked the applicant to explain how they meet Reg. Guide 1.94 and Justify any deviations. The applicant stated that this response would be in to the staff by December 18, 1981.
- 2) Question 421.22 - Q-List.
The staff explained that items which appear on the Q-list in cuestion 421.22, but are not safety-grade and thus don't fall under 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, should still be part of the facility's quality assurance program. These items should be reviewed using the pertinent requirements of the applicant's quality program. The applicant expressed some difficulty with such a graded quality assurance program but agreed to respond to the request quickly.
