Gentlemen:
As indicated in our November 18, 1981 letter to Mr. Maurice Axelrad, of Lowenstein, tiewman, Reis and Axelrad, we have accumulated the manpower and contractual services costs expended for the review of the llorth Coast withdrawn application.
Under 10 CFR Part 170, it is Connission practice to recover review costs using the procedures of Footnote 3 to 10 CFR 170.21 when the review of the project is complete. Tne review of this project was completed ~as of February 18, 1931 the date the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel dismissed the proceeding.
Accordingly, we have deter:ained the actual expenditures incurred for professional manpower and contractual support services from September 27, 197',, the date the application was amended to include the t' orth Coast (Islote) site to February 18, i
1981, tne date the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel dismissed the proceedings. Actual cost incurred for the review was $C91,573.U Under the Conmission's regulations, we limit the charge for review to tnat which would be applied to tne construction permit under 10 CFR 170.21 A.1, that is $891,573.
$125,000 has already been paid as an application fee. The balance due for the review of the construction permit application is as follows:
