Riverside liospital,1600 ti. Superior Street Toledo, Ohio 43604 ("the licensee")
is the holder of Byproduct flaterial Licensa 34-13234-01 ("the license") issued by the iluclear Regulatory Cemission ("the Commission"). The license authorizes tne possession and use of byproduct material under certain conditions specified therein.
Tnis license was originally issued on May 9, 1969. The present expiration date of the license is Marcn 31, 1935.
II On April M.1981, tne licensee's activities authorized by License 34-13234-01 and located at 1600 it. Superior Street, Toledo, Ohio, were inspected by a represent-ative(s) of the tiRC Office of Inspection and Enforcement for health and safety purposes. On July 14, 1981, the Comission sent Invoice 1048il to the licensee requesting payrent within 30 days of the inspection fee of $460 required by 10 CFR 170 of tne Comission's regulations. A second notice of payment due, l
togetner witn a flotice of Violation, was sent to the licensee on August 14, 1981.
A final notice of payment due was sent to the licensee on September 14, 1931.

! The licensee failed to respond to three invoices. Consequently, on November 23, 4
1981, the Cnief, License Fee Management Branch, Office of Administration, issued an Order to Snow Cause ("the Order"), directing the licensee to show cause why the license should not be revoked permanently. As an alternative to filing an answer, the Order provided that, if payment of the fee were made within 20 days t
of the date of receipt of the Order, the Director of Administration er the j
undersigned would issue a subsequent Order terminating the revocation proceeding.
In response to the Order, the licensee followed this alternative procedure and paid the inspection fee of $460.

Accordingly, in view of the payment of the inspection fee under the terms of tne 1
Order and, pursuant to the Commission's " Rules of Practice" in 10 CFR Part 2, IT IS liEREBY ORDERED TilAT:
