20555 TOPICAL REPORT - CPC-1A - CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM - ORGANIZATION CHANGE Consumers Power Cor.pany recently announced changes in our Midland Project Quality Assurance management organization. Attached is a copy of the announce-ment of those changes for your information.
Consumers Power Company vill submit revisions to our Quality Assurance Program Policies to incorporate these organizational changes in the near future.

Because of the growth in the number of quality assurance personnel who are located at the site, it is necessary to establish the presence of senior quality assurance management at the site.
To implement this need B W Marguglio, Director of Environmental and Quality Assurance, vill become a member of the !Udland Project Office an? vill assume direct line responsibility for ISdland quality assurance activities.

Mr Marcuglio vill continue to oversee his previously assigned functions of de-veloping and maintaining the quality assurance program for the,PE&C Department end directly aiministering the Environmental Department and the quality assurance pro 8 ram for plant nodifications.
I am confident that Mr Parguglio's additional involvement in the Midland Project will serve to further enhance an already ' fine department and vill insure the successful completion of the project with regard to quality assurance activities.
