ORDER 7Tf5 On November 19, 1981, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued an order suspending Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E's) license to load fuel and conduct low power testing pending satisfactory completion of a specified seismic reverification program.

CLI-81-30, 14 NRC The order suspending PG&E's license provided an opportunity for Governor Brown and Joint Intervenors in the pending Diablo Canyon operating license proceeding to comment on the choice of company or companies to conduct the reverification program and the program plan proposed by PG&E.

Subsequent events have prompted the NRC staff to initiate an investigation into the relationship between PG&E and R. L.

2 Order should be extended. Coments on both the choice of company or companies and the proposed reverification program plan must be received by the Comission no later than one week after placement of the NRC staff investigation report in the NRC's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.

Placement is currently anticipated to occur on or about January 12, 1982.

Copies of the report will be provided to PG&E, Governor Brown and Joint Intervenors at the same time.
