In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to operating license DPR-77 to change the technical specifications for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (Enclosure 1).
The proposed amendment. involves updating the unit 1 technical specifications to be consistent with the unit 2 technical specifications..All the proposed changes have been approved for unit 2 with the issuance of the unit 2 operating license.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have
' determined the proposed amendment to be Class I.
This classification is based on the. fact that the technical _ specifications as proposed are already in force on an identical. unit. However, no fees are being submitted j.
because the amendment is to clarify the technical specifications and is being submitted at the request of the NRC.
