Massachusetts Institute of Technology requests that its submissions related to a QA Program'for. Shipping. Packages be designated Revision No. 25 to the " Safety Analysis Report for the MIT Research Reactor (MITR-II)",
Report No. MITNE-115 (October 22, 1970), as amended.
In response to 10CFR71 requirements, MIT submitted revisions to its 10CFR50 Quality Assurance Program in letters dated June 30, 1978, August 5, 1980 and February 26, 1981. These were subsequently approved by NRC (Approval No. 0164, April 8, 1981). Since the MIT Reactor QA Program constitutes Chapter 11 of the SAR and since no revision number was assigned ~to the previous submissions, it is now requested that'SAR Revision No. 25 be assigned to the above three. changes combined. Revised pages forwarded with the above three submissions are dat'ed June 30, 1978,
' August 5, 1980 and February 10, 1981; they are not resubmitted herewith.
The SAR changes have been approved by the MIT Reactor' Safeguards Committee at its meetings on September 6,-1978 and December 3, 1981.
