SUBJECT:
ARMC0-AMD, HOUSTON PIPE SHOP CLOSING On December 4,1981, I talked by telephone with Mr. L. Barrington, QC Supervisor, Armco-AMD, Houston and was told the following:
The Armco-AMD Houston, Texas pipe shop will close down in March,1982.
They are currently working on one order of ASME Class 2 and 3 welded pipe. The shop facilities and ASME Code work will be moved to the Armco-AMD Wildwood Plant, located in Orlando, Florida. The Wildwood plant will apply for an ASME Survey in July,1982, for an NPT Authorization.
This memorandum is to close docket file 99900268.
