Thank you for your letter of November 23, 1981, in response to our letter 1
dated October 29, 1981. As a result of our review, we find that addi-tional infomation, as discussed with your Mr. J. Veitch during a telephone call on December 9, 1981, is needed.
Specifically, your letter states that no corrective action will be taken in regard to the Notice of Violation because you are exempted by para-graph 21.3, subparagraph a-1.
We wish to infom you that this response is unacceptable to us, in that it was identified during the inspection that certain of your customers had imposed 10 CFR Part 21 as an appli-cable requirement in their purchase documents. No documented exceptions to this requirement were provided to the URC inspector at that tine.
Accordingly, please provide the corrective action and preventive neasures which were requested in our letter of October 29, 1981.
I It is requested that this information be furnished within 25 days from the date of this letter in order that we may complete our review.
