SECY-81-608 - APPROVAL (.(F, PROPOSED LICENSE TO EXPORT HIGH-ENR CHED URANIUM TO FRANCE (XSNM01543)
This is to advise you that the Commissioners have reviewed the subject license to Transnuclear, Incorporated.
The Commission (with all Commissioners approving) has accepted your recommendation to export to France 15.0 kilograms of uranium, enriched to 93.3% U-235, in the form of uranium hexafluoride.
In connection with their approval, Chairman Palladino and Commissioner Gilinsky have requested the same report called for in their response to SECY-81-607.
The Office of International Programs was informed of this action by telephone on November 25, 1981.
It is requested that you provide the report requested pb Chairman Palladino and Commissioner Gilinsky by c.o..g\\ l December 2, 1981.
