ON TRANSPORTATION SURVEILLANCE PROGRAM I
Enclosed is the fourth quarterly progress report (second year) submitted.by Washington on its transportation surveillance program under contract with NRC and DOT. The report covers the period June 10, 1981 to September 9, 1981.
Washington has now completed its monitoring program under the current contract, l
except for submission of a final report.
The State has entered into a three-year contract with D0T under the new all-hazardous materials surveillance and enforcement program.
DOT will furnish.NRC with State reports as they become available.
Any comments you might have on the report would be appreciated.
