Vermont Yankee Torus Modifications
Dear Sir:
In recent telephone conversations with your staff, Vermont Yanket has been requested to reaffirm the current status of the torus modifications required by the Order for Modification of License forwarded by Reference (c).
As previously stated in References (b), (d), and (e), and confirmed by the NRC in Reference (f), all of the major torus modifications required by Reference (c) have been completed. Any remaining required modifications such as resupport of piping attached to the torus will be completed as necessary prior to startup for Vermont Yankee Cycle X operation as previously proposed in References (d) and (e).
