Dear Mr. Denton:
Attached is Amendment No. 59 to the LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2, Final Safety Analysis Report.
This amendment trans-mits revisions addressing open issues that have been discussed with your staff, revisions resulting from resolution of Technical Specification issues and update information on TMI Topics.
One item of importance is the change in the primary containment accident pressure P(a).
This revision, which has been discussed with your staff, is _ found in Section 6.2 and Table 1.3-4.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, the statements contained herein and in the attached Amendment are true and correct.
In some respects these statements are not based upon my personal knowledge but upon information furnished by other Commonwealth Edison employees and consultants.
Such information has been reviewed in accordance with Company practice and I believe it to be reliable.
