Enclosed for your information are two recent menoranda concerning a Director's decision (DD-81-10) under 10 CFR ?.206 which is currently pending before the Comission. As indicated in the memorandum from the Secretary to the Executive Director for Operations, the staff will be providing a response to the Commission's request for additional staff evaluation. Any comments regarding the enclosed memoranda from the Office of Policy Evaluation or Save the Valley's July " Addendum" to its original petition should be sutaitted to me by November 4,1981, so that the staff may emisider them before fomrding its supplemental evaluation to the Commission.

You will be provided a ccpy of the staff's supplemental evaluation.
