This refers to your application dated January 2,1980, for an amendment to Certificate of Compliance No. 9071 for approval of the ANEFC0 Safety Analysis Report.
A major amendment fee of $5,500 under fee Category llB of Section 170.31 accompanied the request.
On October 30, 1981, the Commission denied your request since you failed to provide additional information in support of the application.
Under 10 CFR 170 it is Commission practice to recover review costs using the procedures of Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of 10 CFR 170.31 (copy enclosed), when the review of the application is complete.
Accordingly, we have determined the actual expendi-tures for professional manpower from the date the application was filed to the date of denial, and the actual cost incurred in the review totaled $25,156.
Since the maximum fee for a major amendment in fee Category llB is $5,500, no additional fee is required.
