PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to list the Security Director's msponsibilities during a GSEP emergency.

PROCEDURE 1.
General Security Director Duties a.
During GSEP assembly, unless otherwise directed, shall report to the Technical Support Center (TSC).
b.
Coordinate with Security Shift Stpervisor, c.
Maintain plant security per security procedures to the extent conditions allow.
d.
Inform Station Director of overall plant security situation.
e.
Coordinate with Rad / Chem Director in controlling ingress and egress to the protected area.
f.
Account for all personnel within the protected area.
g.
Maintain a record of the GSEP security-related activities.
2.
GSEP Conditions:
a.
Transoortation Accident (1) Prepare for PA ingress / egress of GSEP personnel and vehicles.
b.
Unusual Event (1) Maintain PA access.
(2) Security personnel shall remain on post.
(3) Shift Supervisor will stand by for further instructions from the Station Director, Shift Engineer, or Security Director.
c.
Alert (1) Inform security personnel of GSEP alert.
(2) Maintain PA access.
(3) Security personnel shall remain on post.
(4) Shift Supervisor will stand by in SAS for further instructions from the StatJm Director, Shift Engineer, or Security Director.

(2) Control PA ingress / egress of personnel and vehicles using GSEP Protected Area Access List. Prepare for emergency vehicles.
(3) Security personnel shall remain on post unless otherwise directed. Account for all security persomel.
(4) Be prepared to evacuate CAS if radiological conditions deem it necessary.
(5) Shift Supervisor will stand by in SAS for further instructions from the Station Director, Shift Engineer, or Security Director.

General Emergency (1) Inform security personnel of GSEP General Emergency.
(2) Control PA ingress / egress of personnel and vehicles using GSEP Protected Area Access List. Prepare for emergency vehicles.

GSEP Assemoly l
a.
A GSEP condition requiring assembly is indicated by a continuous j
two minute siren and/or a page announcement.
b.
All personnel inside the A (except for security) will assemble in one of the following locations:
(1) Control Room l
(2) Technical Support Center (3) Rad Office i
(4) Mechanical Maintenarce Shop l

Security personnel will remain on post (including any personnel they are escorting) unless otherwise directed.

Security Shift Supervisor will report to-SAS.
(1) Control protected area ingress / egress of persomel and vehicles. Use GSEP PA Access List.
(2) Account for all Security Department persomel.
(3) Refer to appropriate contingency procedure if applicable.
(4) Initiate accountability of all persons within the PA.
(5) Prepare for further instructions from the Station Director, Shift Engineer, or Security Director.
e.
Manual Accountability (1) The supervisor of each work group at the assembly areas will account for his personnel and inform SAS of the results.
(2) Security Supervisor will advise each department of current location of missing persomel as indicated by the security computer.
(3) Security Supervisor will advise Station or Operations Director of accountability results.
f.
Computer Accountability (1) Assembled persomel will log their location by using the appropriate card readers.
(2) After personnel have assemble'd and logged, SAS operator will run roll call 2/0.
(3) Security Supervisor will advise Station or Operations Director of all personnel (other than security) within the PA and not assembled.
