The research is proposed to conduct a comprehensive experimental investigation of the important effect on heat transfer of droplet hydrodynamics in a water droplet-vapor dispersion flow through the simulated fuel rod subchannels with grid spacers or blockage during LOCA reflood of a pressurized water reactor.
