- This institution which cares for 120 aged and infirm patients is located within several miles of the Indian Point nuclear power plant.
In view of the age of this plant and its record of frequent breakdowns, I request on behalf of all of our patients and employees that a local hearing on the safet y of the ludiaa Point ope rat ion be held on January 20, 1982.
I would say that the views of N.K.C. Chairman Palladino as reported in today's N.Y. Times would cert ainly lend stron,; support to this request.
