according to law, depose and say:

1. The information shown on Attachment A', attached hereto and made a part hereof, is an accurate listing of tne number of hours Three Mile Island Unit No.1 licensed personnel spent in requalification training during the 1980-1981 training cycle. The data was obtained from cycle attendance matrices which listed the approximate number of hours for each subject as well as recorded attendance. The " approximate" number of hours refers here to the average time for each class, some of which varied slightly according to the length of discussion.

2. The hours listed in Attachment A da not include study time I

spent by individuals at home or at their regular work locations.

4. The Three Mile Island Unit No.1 Administrative Procedure 1006, approved by the NRC, requires 60 hours6.944444e-4 days <br />0.0167 hours <br />9.920635e-5 weeks <br />2.283e-5 months <br /> of requalification training, not including simulator training.

5. The difference between number of hours available and number of-hours spent in training is primarily due to vacations, sick time, shortened training weeks due to holidays, teaching assignments (for instructors who are licensed) and supervisory duties (for individuals EE AND FF who are not on a normal training rotation).

6. Attachment A includes those individuals previously licensed on TMI-l who participated in the April 1980 NRC examinations.
