Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this letter is to provide the final report discussed in Reference (a) relative to Zack Company documentation deficiencies.
Based on our review of the Zack Company report (dated October 2>, 1981), additional action has been initiated by our Project Construction Department in the form of Commonwealth Edison nonconformance reports.
The following reports have been written:
NCR #556 - HVAC materials that apparently do not meet specification requirements.
NCR #557 - HVAC material documentation that is apparently missing.
NCR #558 - HVAC material documentation that is apparently incomplete.
As o f November 30, 198?, die status o f the engineering resolution is as follows:
NCR #556 - Use o f materials accepted.
NCR #557 - Use of materials accepted with existing or attainable do.3. mentation o r j ustification exists for technical acceptance.

All other items acceptable for use.
Although the corrective action specified in the October 23, 1981 report has not been completed, it is our position that a l
serious documentation or material deficiency does not exist.
This conclusion is based on the results of the evaluation of deficiencies-completed to date.
Therefore, this report serves as the final report on this subject.
Should any significant problems be identified, we will
. provide an additional update report.
The remaining nonconformance reports will be dispositioned prior to fuel loading on LaSalle Unit 1.
