Dear Mr. Schwencer:
The purpose of this letter is to forward a proposed revision to the LaSalle County Station FSAR ( Appendix B, R.G.
1.88).
This revision will replace the revision submitted in Reference (a).
Ine revised proposal was discussed with Mr.
A. Bournia and Mr. J. Sprole on November 14, 1981, and was determined to be accept-able.
This second submittal became necessary following a review by NRR which resulted in restrictions on record storage in the Station Central File beyond that which was previously understood as accept-able.
This change will be documented in an amendment to the FSAR.
If there are any questions in this regard, please contact this office.

September 10, 1973 COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND MAINTENANCE OF NUCLEAR POWER PLANT QUALITY ASSURANCE RECORDS Regulatory Guide 1.88 describes a method acceptable to the NRC for complying with the requirements to collect, store, and maintain quality assurance records for nuclear power plants.
Chapter 17.0 cites Edison's QA Topical Report CE-1A (Tev.
5, March 10, 1978) which is the updated version of CE-1 (Jun.: 75) that described the initial QA program.
Chapter 6 of that document outlines the Edison document practices.
