Dear Mr. Schwencer:
Enclosed is a summary of the third quarter for 1981, of the
' fog and rime ice observations in the vicinity of the LaSalle cooling pond.
This is being transmitted in accordance with. the requirements of Reference (b).
The summary includes all incidences of observed fog and rime ice.
There were only two days out of 64 observation days when the visibility was less than 1/4 mile at two of the nine observation points while on September 14, 1981, the visibility was 250 feet or less at all observation points.
